Who we are
Andrew Taylor ACA - Head of Acccounting Services
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant with 12 years of experience in a wide variety of industries, encompassing investments, insurance, banking, manufacturing and distribution and general practice. His varied roles have been as diverse as business adviser, auditor, investment accountant, financial reporting manager, technical accounting specialist and finance director.
As well as producing year-end accounts and regulatory reports, Andrew's areas of expertise are on working with clients to ensure they get the information they need to run their businesses, helping clients through the maze of options surrounding funding decisions and managing the financial side of their businesses, and advising on how best to mitigate any possible tax implications.
As a "Virtual FD", Andrew is able to assist a client's business by ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial information, advising on everything from the preparation of accounts, accounting policies and assumptions used, through to providing directors and senior managers with financial advice on any issues that may crop up.
In his spare time Andrew has sailed the Tall Ships Race and is currently in the process of learning to fly a glider. Less energetically, he sings tenor with a local choir and enjoys watching the rugby
Amanda Dunphy – Accounts Manager
Amanda has over 17 years experience within practice and industry, responsible for preparing accounts from bookkeeping and Management Accounts to Statutory Accounts level. She has experience with a diverse cross-section of industries including logistics, manufacturing, retail, construction, venture capital and property investment.
As well as accounts production, Amanda also deals with the basic tax requirements of clients and the day-to-day issues involved in accounting for clients’ business activities.
